The memorial site is just southeast of the intersection of Regatta and Pioneer Way in the Veteran's Memorial Park.  The park is a narrow strip of land between Pioneer Way and the harbor with a walkway on the harbor side.  To the NNE of the memorial is the Skagit Valley College Campus and the Oak Harbor Library, with Navy housing higher on the hill.  To the SE is the Yacht Basin with Navy housing on Maylor Point beyond.
