General map of location
The memorial site is just southeast of the intersection of Regatta and Pioneer Way in the Veteran's Memorial Park.  The park is a narrow strip of land between Pioneer Way and the harbor with a walkway on the harbor side.  To the NNE of the memorial is the Skagit Valley College Campus and the Oak Harbor Library, with Navy housing higher on the hill.  To the SE is the Yacht Basin with Navy housing on Maylor Point beyond.

Image taken from west end of park looking East towards the Sea Plane Base main gate. The old hospital is in background. Memorial site is just beyond the flag pole on the top of the rise.  Skagit Valley Junior College is to the left.  Sidewalk runs from town, along the harbor, out to the marina and the Sea Plane base.

Nearer the site, which is just beyond the flag pole.

The actual site at the top of the rise.  Picnic table and trash bin will be removed.  We're not sure about the water fountain.  City wants to think about that.

From across the street looking westerly, across the harbor, town in the back ground.  Memorial to be located just to the left of the picnic table, which will be removed as will the trash bin.

Across the street.  Taken from the college lawn, Marina in the background.  Memorial will be just about in the center of the picture.

Taken from a patio at the college, looking across Pioneer Way to the Veteran's Memorial Park site for the Whidbey Patrol Squadron Memorial.

Whidbey Patrol Squadron Memorial site looking generally WNW to the location just this side of the flag pole.
